Employee of the Week - Teresa Wilkerson

The Maintenance Department is pleased to recommend Mrs. Teresa Wilkerson as “Employee of the Week”. Teresa has been with Pittsylvania County schools for 24 years. Teresa keeps the maintenance department organized and without her dedication we would be lost.
Teresa always has a positive, can do attitude. No job is too large or too small. She has a great work ethic and does her best to get everyone taken care of at our schools. Everyone enjoys hearing her cheerful voice on the phone when they call. As Executive Administrative Assistant and Maintenance Coordinator, Teresa’s responsibilities are many but being sure that the schools have what they need is always her top priority.
Teresa is married to Darrell Wilkerson who works in the IT Department. They have two daughters: Megan Stanfield (Lane) and Emily Wilkerson. In addition she has two grandchildren: Isaac is 7 years old and attends Twin Springs Elementary School and Amelia is 4 years old and attends Wee Care Preschool.
Teresa’s favorite pastime is spending time with her grandchildren. She is a terrific wife, mother, and grandma and dedicates most of her time outside of work to her family.
