Employee of the Week - Caitlin Foster

Stony Mill Elementary School is pleased to announce that Ms. Caitlin Foster has been chosen as the “Employee of the Week.” Ms. Foster has been employed at Stony Mill for one year as a Teacher’s Aide. Ms. Foster has several years of experience working with young children. She has been a dance instructor and choreographer for four years at Brittany Cody Dance Company. She is also the co-director of BCDC Elite Competition Team. Ms. Foster’s experience is evident whenever she interacts with students. She has a natural teaching ability and can manage a classroom of students with confidence. Ms. Foster has a compassionate, encouraging demeanor that allows her to develop positive relationships with students.
Ms. Foster is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education at James Madison University. She is on schedule to graduate in May 2023 and intends to pursue a teaching position with Pittsylvania County Schools. Ms. Foster says she “enjoys working with students each day and seeing the smiles on their faces when they finally grasp a new concept.”
Ms. Foster is a dedicated employee who is rarely absent from work. She is a great team player and willingly accepts changes in assignment without complaint. She has been a wonderful addition to the SME family. Congratulations to Ms. Foster on her much deserved selection as Pittsylvania County Schools’ Employee of the Week!
