Employee of the Week - Mary Hughes

Dan River Middle School is proud to recognize Mrs. Mary Hughes as its Employee of the Week. Mrs. Hughes has been employed with Pittsylvania County Schools for 19 years. She served 6 years as the Attendance Clerk and is currently serving her 13th year as the Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper at Dan River Middle.
Mrs. Hughes is a native of Pittsylvania County. She has been married 30 years to her high school sweetheart, Gary. They have twin daughters, Morgan and Emily (Jarrett Johnson) and one son Blake. She is a member of Ringgold Baptist Church.
In her spare time she enjoys reading, traveling, watching the Hallmark Channel and spending time with family and friends.
