Employee of the Week - Linda Rogers
April 3-7, 2023

It is with great Trojan PRIDE that Tunstall High School recognizes Ms. Linda Rogers as the PCS Employee of the Week.  She has been a part of the Tunstall High School family for over 50 years!  Ms. Rogers was raised in the Whitmell community.  She graduated from Southside High School and attended Danville Community College.  She began her career with our division in December of 1971.

When asked about what she loved most about her job, she said, “Tunstall High School is a great place to learn and strive for excellence.  I love interacting with the children at Tunstall and being surrounded by a wonderful group of coworkers.  Here at Tunstall, we have a great group of teachers who really care about the children.  My job as Attendance Clerk has been a tireless effort in serving the students here at Tunstall.”

Ms. Rogers is deeply committed to her family.  When she is not working at Tunstall High School, she enjoys spending time with her three children, Dedric, Derrick, and Jason Rogers (Amber), all Tunstall High graduates, and her grandsons D’dric and Noah.  Her hobbies include reading, sewing, shopping, working puzzles, traveling, and watching football and basketball games.  Addtionally, she is a member of St. Matthew Baptist Church where she serves the congregation as Financial Secretary and part-time clerk.     

Our Trojan family is grateful for Ms. Rogers!  We are proud to recognize her as the Employee of the Week! She is a source of Trojan PRIDE to our students, our school and our community!  Congratulations Ms. Rogers!
