Employee of the Week - Stacey Hamlett

Chatham Elementary is proud to announce Ms. Stacey Hamlett, STAR 3-5 Teacher Aide, as our Employee of the Week.
After working in manufacturing most of her adult life, she left her job of 22 years and started her own business. While fun and exciting, she needed stability. Having a desire to help others, she signed up for a SPED assistant job. She started working in the STAR program at Twin Springs in 2017. The next school year she became a teacher aide, grades 3-5, in this wonderful program. Since then, the Star Program was transferred to Chatham Elementary School. She is so thankful to be a part of this team of great teachers and therapists and last but not least an amazing group of kids that she says have changed her life.
Outside of work, Ms. Hamlett lives on a large dairy farm in Chatham with her fiancé, Larry. She has been blessed with many nephews and nieces and looks forward to the arrival of her first great-niece in January.
Ms. Hamlett always has a smile and an encouraging word. She’s great at what she does. The faculty and staff of Chatham Elementary salute Ms. Hamlett and are grateful to have her as a part of our team.
