Employee of the Week - Freddreika Younger

Gretna Middle School proudly recognizes Ms. Freddreika Younger, school counselor, as our Employee of the Week. In addition to handling the counseling needs of all students, Ms. Younger serves as our school’s PBIS chair and testing coordinator. She was also the driving force behind our successful school-wide cornhole tournament during the first semester.
Ms. Younger is a native of Pittsylvania County. She graduated from Chatham High, and she earned both her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Lynchburg College. Outside of work, she serves as the cheerleading coach for Chatham with the Pittsylvania County Parks and Recreation youth sports. She is also a member of Antioch Baptist Church in Gretna.
Ms. Younger is great at what she does, and her positive attitude and willingness to take on any task makes her an integral part of our school. We are very appreciative of the efforts Ms. Younger puts forth daily at Gretna Middle School.
