Kate Wells is dedicated, hardworking, and the backbone of many programs at Tunstall Middle School (TMS). She has been a teacher at TMS for fifteen years and has taught sixth grade English and social studies. She has been the Fusion teacher for the past four years. Mrs. Wells has been a BETA sponsor for more than ten years. She is currently the State Sponsor-Elect. She has also taken on the task of being our 504 and CSIT Coordinator this year along with teaching English to all of our seventh and eighth grade remote students. She arrives early, stays late, and the success of our students is her top priority. She is always willing to help her colleagues and administrators at a moment’s notice. She remains positive and professional in the most difficult situations.
Mrs. Wells is happily married to her husband, Mike. They have three children and a grandchild on the way. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, reading, and doing anything crafty.
No day at TMS would be complete without Mrs. Wells energetic “good morning” to each student who enters the building.
