Employee of the Week: Mike Miraglia

Mr. Mike Miraglia or "Mr. Mike," as he is called, has been a full time custodian for five years and has become a phenomenal asset to the students, staff and to the administration.
Mr. Mike is originally from Napals, Italy. He is married to his beautiful wife, Jeanne. In his spare time Mr. Mike enjoys working on custom art projects such as painting and custom nativity scenes. Mr. Mike’s work has been showcased in local newspapers and magazines. Mr. Mike and his wife are active members of Hope Church in Danville Virginia.
Mr. Mike has served as a guest speaker and presenter in our culinary arts class. He demonstrated how to make an original Italian pizza. The culinary arts students greatly enjoyed his demonstration.
Custodians are the backbone of our schools and Mr. Mike feels it is his responsibility to make the school look its best at all times for all visitors and parents. Mr. Mike is truly a team player who takes pride in his work. He is a joy to work with and we appreciate all that Mr. Mike does for the Pittsylvania Career and Technical Center.
