Employee of the Week: Debra Waters

Chatham Middle School is pleased to honor Ms. Debra Waters as the Employee of the Week. Before coming to PCS, Mrs. Waters was a nurse at Danville Regional Medical Center for almost 20 years. She has been employed with Pittsylvania County Schools (PCS) for 10 years but has been affiliated with PCS all of her life. She attended PCS, her mother retired from PCS and her children both attended PCS. Mrs. Waters firmly believes "It is a great place to be!"
Mrs. Waters truly enjoys working with the children in our schools. She also serves on the board of the Chatham High School Booster Club and the CHAPS organization because she believes in our students and wants them to have the best possible experiences in our schools. "I can truly say I love what I do and the people I work with. Our staff are some of the hardest working people I have ever had the pleasure to meet and it is because of them that our students have the opportunity to be the best that they can be. There is no place I would rather work than for PCS."
Mrs. Waters has been instrumental to the safety of our students and staff at Chatham Middle School. Her bright personality and sweet smile comfort our Cavaliers every day. We are blessed to have her in our Cavalier Family!
