Employee of the Week: Nghia Nguyen

After going several months without a certified math teacher, you can imagine our excitement when Mr. Nghia Nguyen came our way. He is a new professional face to the Chatham area. He comes to us from Roanoke and Henry County. He has only been at the Regional Alternative School for a few weeks and already the students, faculty, and staff have enjoyed his warm personality and willingness to work with us.
Mr. Nghia Nguyen comes to us with secondary high school math teaching experience, and he is presently working toward an administrative endorsement. He is truly dedicated to the teaching profession. He arrives early and stays late if needed. He is always willing to assist at any level. He greets everyone with a big smile.
He was so thankful and surprised to receive this recognition from the faculty and staff.
Mr. Nguygen is a great example that hard work and genuine dedication gets people’s attention.
