Twin Springs Elementary School is very pleased to recognize Mrs. Alma Chaney, as the Pittsylvania County Schools' (PCS) Employee of the Week.
Mrs. Chaney began employment with PCS at Dan River High School, where she served as a cafeteria assistant for 16 years. In 2015, she was hired as an instructional aide at Twin Springs Elementary.
Mrs. Chaney is always willing to help as needed. She is very organized and dedicated to help teachers and students with any task. She takes initiative and performs all tasks with a smile. She works very patiently with students and engages with them in a very understanding manner.
Mrs. Chaney resides in Ringgold with her husband, James. They have two children, Latoya and Marcus. She is a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her family.
This school year has been a very challenging one. However, Mrs. Chaney’s dedication to helping others has certainly made a positive impact on the staff and students at our school. Congratulations, Mrs. Chaney, for a job well done!
