Donna Hutcherson
Dan River Middle School is proud to recognize Mrs. Donna Hutcherson as our Employee of the Week.

Mrs. Hutcherson joined our Wildcat family just this year as an instructional aide, and she has made an immediate impact on both our students and our staff.

Mrs. Hutcherson began her work in education at Carlisle School where she served for seven years as the Development Assistant and one year as the Lunchroom Manager.  She then moved to Mount Hermon Early Learning Center, where she served as a pre-school teacher for four years.  Last school year she worked as an assistant at the Regional Alternative School.

Mrs. Hutcherson works tirelessly to ensure our students and staff have everything they need to be successful, and she does so each day with a smile and kind words.  She has been a blessing to our remote teachers this year in her assistance with packets and organizing materials.  Her love for children is evident each and every day.

Mrs. Hutcherson lives in the Mount Hermon community with Tim, her husband of 30 years.  They have one daughter, Holly, who is 13.  She is a member of Shermont Baptist Church.  In her spare time she loves being at home with her three cats, enjoys being a dance mom, and looks forward to watching movies with her family.

Mrs. Hutcherson noted, “I am truly honored to have been hired and that I am a part of the Wildcat family!”

The administration, faculty, staff, and students would like to congratulate Mrs. Hutcherson on being named Pittsylvania County Schools' Employee of the Week.  Thank you Mrs. Hutcherson for bringing a positive attitude and dedication to all that you do for us at Dan River Middle School – we are so proud to have you as part of our team!
