Employee of the Week: Eleanor Pearson

Eleanor Pearson has worked as a nurse for many years. In fact, she has held different jobs with other companies and has retired a total of three times. However, she discovered that retirement is not for her which is fortunate for John L. Hurt, Jr. Elementary School (HES) students and staff.
Mrs. Pearson originally retired from HES where she served as school nurse for 11 years. She returned to PCS as a substitute nurse, but accepted a position back at HES once it became available.
Mrs. Pearson is married to J.R. Pearson. Their daughter, Jennifer, is married, works as a civil engineer and resides in Oxford, North Carolina.
The Pearsons have two precious poodles, (Chase and Jack), that are 7 years old and keep them busy.
Mr. and Mrs. Pearson are members of First Baptist Church of Gretna and are involved in many church and community volunteering activities.
HES is happy to have Mrs. Pearson "home" again and looks forward to having her here many years to come.
