Southside Elementary School is proud to present our Employee of the Week, Mrs. Tina Hendrix! Known as “Mrs. Tina” to her school family, she has been a paraprofessional at Southside for 14 years. Mrs. Hendrix always has a smile and kind word for everyone. She is willing to go above and beyond to help the school, the teachers, and the students. She remembers every birthday, holiday, or occasion and has a way of making each one fun and special for the students and staff!
Mrs. Hendrix says, “I love my job, my co-workers, and especially the children!” She is well-loved by all of us, too!
Mrs. Hendrix has lived here in Danville, Virginia most of her life. She has been married to her best friend, Robert, for almost 44 years. Together they have three wonderful children: Carmen, Robbie, and Adam. They also have three grandchildren: Kamden, Paige, and Magnolia.
