Employee of the Week: Donna Brumfield

“Dan River High School, may I help you?” Those familiar words warmly welcome all callers. Dan River High School proudly names Mrs. Donna Brumfield, Administrative Assistant, as our Employee of the Week. She was born in Pittsylvania County, but spent most of her youth in Alabama. After graduating from high school, she returned to Virginia.

Since 2007, Mrs. Brumfield has faithfully served the students and staff at DRHS. Initially, she supported student learning as an instructional aide. Four years ago, she moved to the front office where she gracefully manages every conceivable need, concern, and issue that comes her way.

On a personal note, Mrs. Brumfield has been happily married to Jason for 28 years. They have two wonderful, grown Wildcat children, Leah (’11) and Dustin (’20). Her greatest joy is her darling 2 ½ year old granddaughter, Caroline. When she and her family are not enjoying days at the beach, they spend time together at home or in Alabama.

Our Wildcat family appreciates and honors Mrs. Brumfield, this and every week!
