Last week, the Pittsylvania County Schools Board recognized the 2026 valedictorians and salutatorians from each of the division’s four high schools, as well as students representing two of its institutions — Piedmont Governor’s School and the Academy of Engineering and Technology. The School Board also highlighted the invaluable contributions of the 2025–2026 Student Representatives while warmly welcoming the 2026–2027 Student Representatives.
Toward the conclusion of the meeting, Blake Trembley, a student at Pittsylvania Career and Technical Center, was recognized for his outstanding achievements in earning first place in the SkillsUSA Cybersecurity District Competition and third place in the SkillsUSA Cybersecurity State Competition.
