PCS Childcare Survey
Posted on 02/19/2024
The Partnership for Regional Prosperity, in cooperation with the Center for Early Success, is seeking input from parents and guardians on their childcare needs to help evaluate the strengths, weaknesses, and economic impact of childcare in the Danville Pittsylvania region. The organizations are launching an on-line survey to gather valuable insights from families that can inform future strategies for enhancing childcare services in the area.

The survey, available in English and Spanish, is accessible online at https://virginiatech.questionpro.com/Danville-Pittsylvania-Childcare. It is part of a childcare needs assessment being conducted for the Partnership for Regional Prosperity and Center for Early Success by the Virginia Tech Center for Economic and Community Engagement.

The survey will assess a range of topics related to childcare including affordability, quality, and preferences for different types of childcare arrangements. Additionally, the survey aims to identify any challenges or gaps in the current childcare infrastructure that may be hindering families and the regional economy.

Parents and guardians in the Danville Pittsylvania region are encouraged to participate in the survey to ensure their voices are heard and perspectives considered in future planning efforts.
