School Board Recognizes Excellence Across PCS

At last week’s School Board meeting, the Board proudly recognized several outstanding individuals and achievements across Pittsylvania County Schools. Mrs. Kate Wells was honored as the 2025 PCS Educator of the Year, and several students from all four high schools were highlighted for outstanding accomplishments, including receiving the College Board National School Recognition Award.

Toward the end of the meeting, Board member Mr. Don Moon was recognized for 25 years of dedicated service to Pittsylvania County Schools.
