On Saturday, April 25, the Chatham High School Interact Club volunteered at the Danville Riverwalk to help pick up litter and promote a cleaner community.

Students shared how meaningful the experience was and emphasized the importance of keeping parks and public spaces clean for everyone to enjoy, including wildlife. From picking up small pieces of litter along the trail to encouraging others to properly dispose of trash, these students are making a positive impact in our community.

Their efforts serve as a reminder that even small actions can make a big difference.
