Board Honors Student Achievements and Media

At last week’s School Board meeting, the Board proudly recognized the following students for their outstanding achievements:
• Andrew Bledsoe (Twin Springs Elementary) for Perfect Scores for the SOL Assessments *Principal Harville accepted the award on their behalf.
• Lexi Waller (Gretna Middle) for Perfect Scores for the SOL Assessments
• Parker Boon (Chatham High) for placing 3rd place in the 300 Meter Hurdles at the VHSL 2A State Track Meet
In addition, board members proudly recognized the following individuals for the 2025 Media Honor Roll:
• Mr. Charle Wilborn, Reporter for Danville Register & Bee
• Ms. Shannon Kelly, Reporter for the Chatham Star-Tribune
