Author Amanda Zieba Visits Dan River Middle

On Friday, March 27, author Amanda Zieba of Learning with the Word Nerd spent the day at Dan River Middle School!

Amanda, an educator and content creator, writes “feel-good fiction” for all ages and provides teachers with engaging ELA resources through her website, WordNerdopolis.

Thanks to a grant from the Danville Regional Foundation (Dan River District), as every student and staff member received a copy of her book Life in the Passenger Seat, which they’ve been enjoying for the past several weeks.

It was an inspiring day that celebrated reading, creativity, and the joy of learning!
