JROTC Inspections Highlight Excellence
Posted on 03/23/2026
During the second week of March, Dan River, Gretna, and Tunstall High Schools conducted their JROTC inspections. These annual evaluations assess cadet performance and program effectiveness through in-ranks inspections, drill demonstrations, color guard presentations, and briefings on curriculum, cadet portfolios, and service-learning initiatives.
A special moment during Dan River’s inspection was CDT/CSM Taejon Oliver being sworn into the U.S. Army Reserves by MAJ Loomis. CDT Oliver will serve with the Bedford Unit as an 88M (Motor Transport Operator).
Congratulations to all cadets and instructors for their hard work, professionalism, and dedication to excellence.
