Good Citizenship and American History Essays

On Tuesday, March 10, 2026, PCS high school seniors were recognized by the Daughters of the American Revolution – Dorothea Henry Chapter during their Student Awards Ceremony. Each student submitted an essay focused on the theme of Good Citizenship.

Victoria Spong (CHS), was named the overall winner. Brice Jones (DRHS), Vivian Taylor (GHS), and Noah Williams (THS) were also recognized for their essays.

Chyanne Martin (CHS) was recognized for her submission in the American History essay category.

Additionally, the following PCS elementary students were recognized for their American History essay submissions:

Lilyan Harper – Grade 5, TSES
Raelynn Wood – Grade 5, TSES
