Miss Virginia visits Southside Elementary

On Thursday, January 22, Southside Elementary was honored to host Miss Virginia, Madison Whitbeck, for a special presentation to fourth and fifth grade students. During her visit, Miss Whitbeck spoke about the importance of making safe and healthy choices both in and out of school. She also encouraged students to embrace leadership, build self-confidence, and make positive decisions, including how to say “no” when faced with difficult situations.
