On December 3, Pittsylvania County Schools’ Pre-K students were whisked into the magic of the holiday season during Polar Express Day at the Olde Dominion Agricultural Complex. From the moment they arrived, students were greeted with festive sights, joyful music, and the promise of a truly enchanting experience.
Children began their adventure by receiving their very own Golden Ticket, granting them passage aboard the Polar Express train ride. Throughout the event, students rotated through a variety of cheerful activities including face painting, a sparkling Christmas lights mini trail, and a lively bouncy house that kept energy high and smiles wide.
They also gathered for cozy story time, where the classic tale of The Polar Express came to life. The excitement grew even more when students had the chance to meet Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus, and their merry helpers, creating unforgettable holiday memories.
Polar Express Day was filled with wonder, laughter, and community spirit, a magical kickoff to the holiday season for our youngest learners.
