Students and Schools Unite to Honor Our Veterans

Pittsylvania County Schools honored our veterans through a series of heartfelt programs featuring student performances, presentations, and opportunities for students to meet and connect with local veterans. These events celebrated the brave individuals who have stood up to defend our freedoms and liberties. Many schools also welcomed veterans as guest speakers, allowing students to hear personal stories and gain meaningful insights into their service and commitment to our country.

School Board Member and Veteran, Willie Fitzgerald - Chatham High
