New License Application
Online Application

The VDOE has created an online application process that is available for first-time VA teaching license applications. Please follow the instructions below to complete an online application.

Create an online account at VALO VDOE-VALO
• Do Not complete an online application if you are applying for a technical professional license (TP)
 • Complete the application only (do not upload any other documents) 
 • Select "NO" for school division paying
• For payment option do NOT select "pay later"

 • Pay online with a credit/debit card once the application is completed

• Send the following to Lisa Parker ([email protected]):
      • Send a copy of the application submitted
• Forward the email with proof of payment
• Forward the email with the PKID number 
• Special Education applications – complete the first 2 pages on VALO and contact Lisa Parker for page 3 of the application
Paper Application

If you prefer, you may complete a manual application and pay with a check or money order. Please contact Lisa Parker for additional information.
