In May 1993, a bond referendum was passed that cleared the way for Twin Springs Elementary School to be built. The student population would be made up of students from Whitmell Elementary and Mount Hermon Elementary. Twin Springs officially opened on September 3, 1996. Twin Springs currently serves approximately 800 children in grades pre-K through fifth grade. Mrs. Kathryn Lowry currently serves as principal. Mrs. Angela Sims serves as assistant principal. |
