Ms. Behrman grew up in Pittsylvania County and is a graduate of Tunstall High School.  She received her B.S. and M.S.  degrees from Radford College, which is now Radford University.

She attends Blessed Hope Church and has one granddaughter, Cora Elizabeth.

Ms. Behrman enjoys reading and spending time at the beach.

Barbara. Behrman is a warm, accessible, enthusiastic and caring teacher and when you walk in her class you immediately know you are in a very special place.  

She sets high expectations for all of her preschool students and because she believes in them they soar academically and socially.

Her consistent dedication to teaching children has gained her the respect and admiration of students, parents, and co-workers.
