Ginger Ludeman of Twin Springs Elementary

“I am so thankful that I get to teach and that I get to do my job at Twin Springs Elementary School.” -- Ginger Ludeman

Twin Springs Elementary School is proud to have Mrs. Ginger Ludeman as our employee of the week.  Mrs. Ludeman teaches our special needs preschool class.

Mrs. Ludeman began her teaching career as a teaching assistant in Manchester, New Hampshire.  Mrs. Ludeman worked with 18 to 21 year old special needs students.  She later attended Georgia College and State University adding special education to her bachelor degree from Western Washington University.  Mrs. Ludeman had several different professions that she thoroughly enjoyed but teaching special needs students has been the “best job ever."

“I am so thankful that I get to teach and that I get to do my job at Twin Springs Elementary School. Plus, Lisa Astin and Tammy Thurman, our teaching assistants, are the best you can get! That makes all the difference in the world!"

Mrs. Ludeman has two sons, Patrick who lives in Atlanta and works in the state budget office, and Joe who lives in Danville and teaches at Galileo High School.  Joe is married to Kerribeth who is a guidance counselor at Tunstall Middle School.

Ginger has been married to John for 34 years.  He has been her constant cheerleader since the day they met.  John was the one who suggested that she go back to school and take the classes she needed for certification.  He encouraged and supported her all the way through the process.  Ginger and her husband attend Shermont Baptist Church.

Mrs. Ludeman does not like to call attention to herself. One day while watching a college football game with her husband she heard them mention an MVP award.  She asked her husband what that meant.  John told her they were talking about the most valuable player.  Mrs. Ludeman replied “How can that be?  It’s a team.  If the thrower is the best there is, and the catcher can’t catch, then it will not work and visa-versa.  If the guy that pushes people out of the way can’t push, then the guy that runs can’t run.  So how can there be a most valuable player?”

We are glad to have Mrs. Ginger Ludeman on our team!
