Tunstall High School is honored for Phillip Smith to be their employee of the week. He has worked for Pittsylvania County Schools for 37 years. He has been married for 41 years to Verna Smith.

Phillip and his wife have three daughters and two sons. He is a deacon at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church. His hobbies include singing in the bell choir at church and bowling.

When Phillip was told he was selected as employee of the week he smiled and said, "I love working for Pittsylvania County Schools."
