Employee of the Week


Anita Adams of Mount Airy Elementary
Mount Airy is proud to introduce their Employee of the Week, Anita Adams. Mrs. Adams serves as the Attendance Clerk for Mount Airy. She is an efficient, hardworking, dedicated individual who goes over and beyond the call of duty in her assignments. In addition to her duties as the Attendance Clerk, Mrs. Adams also serves as a tutor for several of our small groups. She is a kind and compassionate individual who strives to make sure the students’ needs are addressed in the school and in the home as necessary. Mrs. Adams works well with the faculty and staff and is known for her beautiful smile and kind countenance. One staff member stated, “Mrs. Adams is a blessing of good work, and a pleasure to be with.” Mrs. Adams has been married to her husband, David, for 27 years. She has a daughter Michelle who is in her first year at UVA and a daughter Kelsie who is a Junior at Gretna High School. Mrs. Adams is a member of St. Andrews United Methodist Church where she serves as the secretary and pianist. She enjoys reading, biking, and spending time with her family. Anita Adams…an excellent choice as Employee of the Week from Mount Airy Elementary School.
