Twin Springs Elementary
School is proud to have Mr. Louie Wyatt as our employee of the week. Mr.
Wyatt has been driving for Twin Springs for three years. Prior to being
a bus driver, Mr. Wyatt built houses for a living. Mr. Wyatt has been married to his wife, Nancy, for 37 years. They have three daughters, Ashley, Olivia and Whitney and two granddaughters. He attends New Testament Baptist Church. In his spare time he likes building models such as cars. Mr. Wyatt enjoys people of all ages. He likes to help people feel good about themselves and he likes to help people in need. Mr. Wyatt found it hard to explain how much he enjoys the work he does. At the beginning of the school year, he has children get on his bus in tears. After two or three days of encouragement from Mr. Wyatt, they are bouncing to the bus with smiles on their faces. Mr. Wyatt goes above and beyond the call of duty by calling the parents of those students who were crying to let them know that they were smiling by the time they arrived at school. This gives his parents much needed peace of mind. Mr. Wyatt says there is something new everyday on his bus. He enjoys the little things that come “out of the mouths of babes.” Mr. Wyatt says he feels blessed to have been placed at Twin Springs Elementary School. Mr. Wyatt, the feeling is mutual. We appreciate having you and your heart that is the size of Texas here at Twin Springs Elementary School. |
