"Mrs. Jones is a vital component to the success and performance of Chatham High School, she has made my transition as the new Assistant Principal much easier as she has given me many hours of support, knowledge, and assistance," said Angela Rigney, Assistant Principal.

Chatham High School is honored to recognize Mrs. Frances Jones as our Employee of the Week.

Mrs. Jones has been employed by Pittsylvania County Schools since 1971. She served as a teacher assistant for two years at Gretna High School, transferred to Mt. Airy Elementary School in 1973, and then to Chatham High School in 1978 as a special education teacher assistant.

Mrs. Jones became the secretary of Chatham High School in 1983, where she has served and assisted many students, parents, teachers, and staff members over the past 25 years to be successful in their endeavors.

"Mrs. Jones is a vital component to the success and performance of Chatham High School, she has made my transition as the new Assistant Principal much easier as she has given me many hours of support, knowledge, and assistance," said Angela Rigney, Assistant Principal.

Mrs. Jones has served as the President of the Pittsylvania County Secretaries Organization and currently serves as the secretary of the organization. In her spare time, she enjoys watching old movies and singing.

It is both an honor and a privilege to present to PCS Mrs. Frances Jones as Chatham High School Employee of the Week.
