Amy Hardy of Central Office
"Amy is a valuable member of the Finance Department team. In addition to performing the numerous duties required of her position, she is always helping others with their accounting and financial responsibilities. She goes above and beyond the call of duty every day and does it with a smile. The Staff of the Central Office congratulates Amy Hardy as their employee of the week. Amy began her career with Pittsylvania County Schools in 1993 as Maintenance Services Coordinator and in 1999 became an Accountant for the Finance Department. Amy is a graduate of Tunstall High School and received a degree in accounting from Danville Community College. Amy is married to Tim Hardy and they have a son, Dylan, who is a seventh grader at Tunstall Middle School. Amy also counts as a member of her immediate family their two year old yellow Lab named Toby. Amy is a member of Mt. Calvary Pentecostal Holiness Church. She has also been a leader with the Pittsylvania County Youth Leagues and the Boy Scouts. In her spare time Amy can be found riding her ATV and getting a little mud on her tires and herself.
