Superintendent's Address:
"Celebration of Our Success"

A Message from the Superintendent:
As we begin this school year, there is talk of high expectations and lofty standards of excellence.    Though we have not yet arrived, we are striving to  reach those goals.  Through it all you have remained focused regardless of the task. You continue to be enthusiastic in spite of daily discouragement.  You apply creativity and motivational techniques regularly without thanks, applause, or essential resources available to other professionals.  Daily you shape minds, stretch imaginations, challenge thinking and model consistency.  Through all this you remain tough-minded, clear-thinking, ever-learning educators that give your time, energy, and attention to the students of Pittsylvania County Schools.  You are, to say the least, a quite impressive group.  I hope you have a great school year.
