Comprehensive
Plan
A
Comprehensive Plan has been developed for the
Pittsylvania County Schools. This plan, which
addresses the period, 2005-2011, has been reviewed by
the Pittsylvania County School Board. A copy of the
Comprehensive Plan will be available at each of the
branches of the Pittsylvania County Public Library.
Copies of the Plan will also be available for review at
the School Board Office in Chatham. |

Manual is available for review. The policy manual will be reviewed
and revised as necessary.
The policy
manual is also available to the public at each of the school libraries and
at the Brosville, Chatham, and Gretna public libraries.

Child
Abuse Recognition/Intervention
Effective July 1, 2004, the Virginia
Department of Education requires all individuals seeking initial
licensure or license renewal to complete a study in child abuse
recognition and intervention. This includes all teachers,
principals and Central Office administrative personnel.
The study is available online. After completing the
study, individuals should submit a copy of the completion
certificate to Janet Hancock at the School Board Office.
NOTE: If you are unable to access the site due to set up
requirements, a computer has been configured in each school's
library for you to use. |
