Applications for tuition assistance for college level courses area available on-line. Completed Tuition Assistance applications should be submitted to Monica Glass and Eisenhower Funding (Title II, Part A) applications (Word | PDF) should be submitted to Tonda Gregory. For Eisenhower Funding, applicants should meet the identified qualifying areas of instruction as noted on the application.

A Comprehensive Plan has been developed for the Pittsylvania County Schools.  This plan, which addresses the period, 2005-2011, has been reviewed by the Pittsylvania County School Board. A copy of the Comprehensive Plan will be available at each of the branches of the Pittsylvania County Public Library.  Copies of the Plan will also be available for review at the School Board Office in Chatham.

Approved Policies: The Pittsylvania County School Board Policy Manual is available for review.  The policy manual will be reviewed and revised as necessary.  The policy manual is also available to the public at each of the school libraries and at the Brosville, Chatham, and Gretna public libraries. 
Proposed Policies:
The Pittsylvania County School Board will be reviewing proposed policy changes.  Please submit comments to Mrs. Clarissa Knight, Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources or to Mrs. Janet F. Hancock, Clerk of the Board.

Effective July 1, 2004, the Virginia Department of Education requires all individuals seeking initial licensure or license renewal to complete a study in child abuse recognition and intervention.  This includes all teachers, principals and Central Office administrative personnel.  The study is available online. After completing the study, individuals should submit a copy of the completion certificate to Janet Hancock at the School Board Office. NOTE: If you are unable to access the site due to set up requirements, a computer has been configured in each school's library for you to use.
