Carpentry provides an opportunity to learn to construct buildings of wood and similar materials. The students will learn to construct a building following the blue prints and plans using both hand and power tools. 

The student will develop skills in reading blue prints and following specifications in framing floors, walls, ceilings and roofs. The course will also cover safety procedures, figuring materials and estimating job cost.
