With every new technology there exists the potential for productive use
and destructive use. It is the responsibility of the user to use the
technology appropriately.
Pittsylvania County Schools believes
that knowledge is power; therefore, we have implemented an integrated,
ongoing plan of Internet safety education for employees, students, and
community stakeholders designed to initially educate them and
then to keep them
abreast of issues relevant to the safe use of the Internet in school and
at home.
