"Before the ice melts to 6 feet, a runway is formed out on the ice.  In the back ground, you will a C-141 Air Force cargo plane.  This plane is used to carry passengers from Christchurch, New Zealand.  Note: The ice beneath the truck is 8 feet thick," writes Bill Robertson.
