During the summer of 2001, all career and technical education teachers participated in training on non-traditional career options. Through the training, teachers reviewed course enrollment data along with the Bureau of Labor Statistics occupational wage data. After participating in case study

analysis and in discussion of selected vignettes, teachers began development of a recruitment plan for their program area.  Training in the area of non-traditional occupations will continue throughout the 2001-02 school year.
