Agriculture Education
Agriculture Education encompasses the study of biology, economics, technology, politics, sociology, international trade, and environmental issues. Instruction in agriculture focuses on:
  • the awareness and appreciation of agriculture
  • the preparation of students to enter and advance in agricultural occupations
  • the application of basic skills to strengthen and support other courses taught in public schools.

The student organization FFA provides opportunities for students to use and refine their knowledge and skills in community and work situations. FFA activities are an integral part of the total instructional program in Agricultural Education. Completing Agricultural Education courses will prepare students for entry-level employment and continued education and training for careers in many agriculture-related fields.
