| Visible Universe Pro is a
DOS (EGA graphics) based sky simulator the can display the sky as it appears from any
point on Earth and from other planets over many tens of thousands of
years. VU version 5 has multiple view modes including a 3D Earth
view which plots eclipse umbra and penumbral contours. You may
download this program for noncommercial, personal or education uses.
Place all the unzipped files in the same directory. Most functions
work under DOS/WIN3.1/Win95/98. However, it may only be used as is. No
warranty is stated or implied. Use at your own risk . The
manual is being converted to html and will be posted later. Start by typing VU from the directory the files were saved in. There is no "installation program" . All required programs and data files are in the VU5 directory. 3.15MB disk space required. |
