Dress Down for The American Cancer Society Day at Southside Elementary

Each month Southside Elementary School's faculty and staff pays to "dress down" for The American Cancer Society. Each person is required to pay a designated amount to wear jeans and a color of cancer. This month we chose to honor Mrs. Patricia Hamm, who is a survivor of ovarian cancer. The color for ovarian cancer is teal. Therefore, everyone wore the color teal. All money raised during the year will benefit The American Cancer Society.
