Mount Airy Celebrates School Wide Fall Walk |

The October 5th cool fall day proved to be the
perfect weather for the annual walk. Mr. Mike Dalton, physical education
teacher, organized the walk. The walk was led by the kindergarten
students. Each fifth grade student adopted one or two kindergarten
students and assisted them on the one mile trek. The rest of the student body, faculty, and staff followed. There were many smiles and lots of laughter as everyone made their way down the country road and back to the school. Each participant returned to the school energized and ready for a day of learning. |
