On Tuesday, October 4, 2011, Kentuck
Elementary School held a very exciting "Build-A-Book" night. Pittsylvania County Sheriff Mike Taylor read the story entitled "Bugs." There were about 75 children present. They all listened and laughed while the story was being read. After the story, the parents and children were given a kit to create their own stories together. It was a magical night of making books, sharing in fun and laughter, and having parents be a part of their child's learning to write. |
