Kentuck Elementary Young Authors' Contest |

| Tiasia Saunders participated in The Young Authors' Contest at Kentuck Elementary School. She won the contest at Kentuck and received a certificate and medal for third grade short fiction. Her entry was submitted to the Pittsylvania County Schools’ competition and won. Tiasia received a certificate of achievement from the Central Office. Her entry was then sent to compete at the regional level. She competed against entries from Amherst, Lynchburg, Bedford, Campbell and Pittsylvania County. Tiasia won 2nd place for “The Evil Snowman”. She received a medal and a certificate from the Piedmont Area Reading Council. The Kentuck faculty, staff and students would like to say congratulations Tiasia for coming in 2nd place at the regional level. |
