The Danville Braves and Sylvan Learning Center are teaming up to promote increased literacy among area students in grades K through 6.  Bob Kitzmiller from the Danville Braves, Tom Jennings from Sylvan Learning Center, as well as the Braves mascot "Blooper", visited Stony Mill Elementary School on March 31 to introduce the Hit the Books! reading incentive program to all students.  Simply by reading four books approved by a teacher, students can earn free tickets to an exciting Danville Braves professional baseball game, along with great gifts from the Braves and Sylvan.
