Civil War Program

The fifth grade students at John L. Hurt, Jr. Elementary School recently enjoyed a program on Hardships in Life of a Civil War Soldier. Mr. Dave Clark, in connection with The Danville Museum of Fine Arts, is pictured with Chase Short, a fifth grader. Both are dressed in authentic Civil War uniforms. Mr. Clark is wearing a Confederate uniform while Chase is dressed as a Union soldier.
