William Taylor Hathaway Named Naturalist Emeritus

The Pittsylvania County School Board honored William Taylor Hathaway at its November 12, 2002 meeting.  Mr. Hathaway was named Naturalist Emeritus "for a lifetime of dedication and service to Pittsylvania County Schools, its students, its teachers and community."

Mr. Hathaway's rich collections of biological and geological artifacts are featured weekly in the Danville Register & Bee's "Nature's Niche" as well as in the Star Tribune's "Pitt Paths."
